Meet the Red Florida Gar (Lepisosteus platyrhincus — red morph). This isn't the typical olive-brown gar you'll find in most collections. The deep rust-red colouration is a genuine genetic variant, and at 9–10" these specimens are already well past the fragile juvenile stage — eating confidently and ready to become the centrepiece of a serious predator build.
